Character Profile

As a digital media artist, my work reimagines complex emotions and abstract ideas through vivid, immersive visuals that transcend reality. Using reflective textures, fluid geometries, and vibrant, evolving patterns, I produce multisensory experiences that materialize environments existing beyond recognizable timelines—neither anchored in the present, future, nor past. My practice often emerges through tactile 3D animations and layered videos in which surreal textures and effects mix with fast-paced, high-energy edits. These dynamic compositions aim to capture the euphoric rush and instant gratification found in social media and consumer culture, producing a “whiplash” effect that mirrors my internal experiences and offers commentary on our overstimulated, digital lives. My work blurs the line between the organic and the digital, spawning in a world where time loops, bends, and redefines itself. Engaging with contemporary societal issues, particularly the integration of technology into daily life and how it influences our sense of connection, susceptibility to obsession, and risk of addiction, I draw inspiration from scholars such as Jean Baudrillard's concept of hyperreality, which examines the blurring of distinctions between reality and simulation. This idea resonates with my exploration of how digital environments can both expand and confine human experience, challenging perceptions of authenticity and illusion. Hayles's examination of the relationship between virtual bodies and consciousness further informs my critique of how technology shapes behaviors, identifying the intersection between enhancement and addiction. Ultimately, my work reflects on the posthuman condition, exploring the fading separation between human and machine. By blending nostalgic elements with visionary futuristic aesthetics, I invite meaningful conversations about the connections between technology, perception, and identity in the digital age.
